It lies 500 m west of Bakis (Malap) Village; east of Elbistan District; north-northeast of Kahramanmaras Province. It is a small mound. It measures 12 m in height and 90x100 m in dimensions. As a result of the surface collection carried out in 1962; building remains from the Roman Period has been attested. Sherds of eastern ware; black rimmed ware; Ozan Höyük ware; mottled washed ware belonging to EBA were recovered. An interesting find is the presence of the painted ware sherds of this region dating from the EBA III. |
