It lies about 100 m south of the motorway running from Adana to Yakapinar; 6.6 km east of Incirlik Village; west of Yakapinar Sub-district; about 17 km east of Adana Province. It has a flat top hill and terraces. It is some 7-8 m high. It was investigated during the Neilsen Survey in 1936. It was identified as a settlement of the Late Hittite Period. As a result of the analysis of pottery collected from the surface during the Cilicia Survey under M.V. Seton-Williams; it is reported that the site had been inhabited from the EBA to the Byzantine period with an exception of the second millennium BC Samples of red and black burnished ware of EBA were recovered. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
