It lies on the Sincanli Plain; west of Afyonkarahisar Province. It is a pretty high mound 1.8 km northeast of the village of Küçükhöyük in the district of Sinanpasa. The ancient name of the site is Kidiesos. It is included in the 1:200.000 map. It is some 21 km away from the city. It was discovered by J. Mellaart. It is one of the major settlements on the plain. Finds dating from the EBA II were recovered from the surface. This site is revisited in 2009 during a survey carried out by Koçak. According to the findings the site is inhabited during EBA, 2nd Millennium BC and Iron Age. The part of the site that belongs to EBA and 2nd Millennium BC is a mound which resides on the far Northeast area [Koçak 2011:185].
