This flat settlement discovered in the 1994 survey by E. Carter; lies 8 km south-southwest of Kahramanmaras. Depending on the abundance of the simple chaff-faced ware bowls and waste sherds; it is presumed to be a pottery production center. The clay beds of the streams running nearby and woods around must have supplied the necessary conditions. The most important find is the piece of a triangular stamp seal with a stag impression made out of some kind of black stone. The site is dated to Late Chalcolithic Age relative to the chronologies of Coba and Tell es Sheih where similars of this seal exist [Carter 1996:290].
