The site lies on the boundary of the provinces of Eskisehir and Bilecik; southwest of Oluklu Höyügü; in Kizilcabayir Mevkii. Regarding the pottery finds; it seems to extend over an area about 200 m in the fields on the right of the road up the village. The site is documented in the 1991 survey conducted by T. Efe. According to Efe; the coarse ware with surface colors alternating from gray to brown collected from this flat settlement; is represented elsewhere in the region; only in Kinik and Pazaryeri I Ğwith a few sherds. The material is dated to the beginning of Late Chalcolithic Age; for now. |
