| It lies 1.5 km northwest of Degirmenönü (Zerteriç) Village; 2 km southwest of Asagi İcme; east of Elazig Province. It is located out of the Dam Lake of Keban and southern slope of Altinova. It looks like a small and low mound. It has a round plan. It measures 2-2.5 m in height and 67x60 m in dimensions. It was discovered by R. Whallon and S. Kantman in 1967. It is reported that there are big and dense settlements of the Early Chalcolithic Age and the EBA I-II; but small settlements of the Late Chalcolithic Age and the LBA. Red burnished EBA ware was recovered. Probably no Karaz ware was found; however plain ware of EBA was collected from the surface. It is coded under 0 55 / 2. |
