It lies 200 m northeast of the Karapinar Suyu Stream; 3 km west of Çardakli Village of Mesudiye District; south of Ordu Province. It was discovered during the 1991 Ordu-Mesudiye Survey conducted by M. Özsait. It is dated to the EBA. Sherds collected from the surface are mostly tempered with fine grit; calcite and plant. Moderately fired interior and exterior surfaces is in reddish brown. A few gray-black colored and burnished sherds was also recovered as well as some samples dating from the Chalcolithic Age. |
