It has a pointed tip with two mounds close to Dagbelören Village; 10 km northwest of Tasköprü District; northeast of Kastamonu Province. It was discovered in 1996 during the Kastamonu Survey conducted by A. Özdogan; C. Marro and A. Tibet. Pottery dating from the Chalcolithic Age/EBA I and EBA II/III was collected from the illicitly digged pits. One of those pits reveals the presence of a stone wall. Also found are burnt mudbrick fragments spreaded around. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism. |
