Remains belonging to two walls, one of which is in the piling technique and the other one is in the casemate technique, were found on the northern slope of the hill, 1.8 km southwest of the valley in Kiliççesmesi Mevkii of Barbaros Village in Urla District of Izmir Province. A few sherds of common wares were found on the surface during the survey conducted by Y. Ersoy and his team in 2014. The foot belonging to tripod cooking pot indicates that this area was used in EBA [Ersoy-Koparal 2016:84]. |
