There are a large number of rock graves and workshops in Alatepe Mevkii, in Kemer Quarter, in Turgutreis Town of Bodrum District, in Mugla Province. The workshops are located near the graves. There are workshops especially around the graves in Kussivrisi Hill. Some of the chamber graves are with a triangular or gabbled pediment. Some of the graves contain 4 klines. There are two klines and a libation pit in the rock grave with two rooms. Double hypogeum and vessel type graves are also observed. There are niches on the walls of some graves. One of the graves contains rock cut stairs. There are workshops near the vicinity of the graves. The workshops consist of an oval crushing pit and collection pools, which are generally rectangular, connected by a channel. Some workshops have niches to support the presser arm. It is assumed to be used in olive oil production. One of the workshops consists of a collection pool with a dimension of 4.15x2.40 m and a depth of 2.20 m, and a pit with a diameter of 0.76 m, connected to the pool. To the west of the pool is a niche carved into the bedrock. Also, a semi-circular press bed and an oval rock bowl were found. A press weight was found near a grave and around the workshop. It is registered in the Cultural Inventory of Mugla Province [Mugla KE III.1 2013:436-58; 463].
