It lies in Ömeraga Mevkii; 500 m away from the village cemetery east of Kayi Village; west of Bor District of Nigde Province. The mound is leveled today. It was discovered by J. Mellaart and dated to EBA. It was visited during the survey conducted by L. D'Alfonso in 2008 and only Hellenistic, Roman and Middle Age wares were found on the mound on the contrary to Mellaart. The mound mentioned as Topraktepe (Kayi-Topraktepe) in the publications of D'Alfonso [D'Alfonso 2010:3]. |
