It is located about 2 km west of Mazi Village, in Mumcular Town of Bodrum District, in Mugla Province. A city wall with a diameter of 80 m is located on the summit of Asarlik Tepe and there are remains of structures within the city wall. The walls were built with coarse large rubble stones. The settlement is dated before the period of Maussollos. To the northeast of the hill is a 7 m long building terrace built with large blocks. It is registered in the Cultural Inventory of Mugla Province [Mugla KE III.2 2013: 1538; 1545-6]. |
