The area, which contains two adjacent hills named Büyükkale and Küçükkale, and its vicinity in Büyüknefes Village of Yozgat Province is known as the ancient city of Tavium. The first researchs were initiated by K. Bittel in 1939. The area was surveyed by K. Strobel and his team between 1997 and 2009. The studies show that the city is dated back to EBA [http://www.yozgatkulturturizm.gov.tr/TR,92283/arkeolojik-sit-alanlari.html, 21.05.2018; 11:40].
Location: The area where two adjacent hills called Büyükkale and Küçükkale are located and its surrounding area in the Büyüknefes Village of Yozgat are known as the ancient city of Tavium [Belke-Restle 1984:229-231].
