It is located in Gergeli Mevkii, in Battal Village of Merkez District in Yozgat Province. It is registered in the cultural inventory list of Yozgat. The mound is 75 m in diameter and 12 m in height. It has a pointy cone. Kanak Creek flows 400 m west from the mound. The potsherds collected from the surface indicate that the mound was inhabited from the 3rd millennium BC to the 1st millennium BC [http://www.yozgatkulturturizm.gov.tr/TR,92283/arkeolojik-sit-alanlari.html, 21.05.2018; 11:40]. |
