It locates in the south of Küçükbogaz Lake, in the west of Karasu Quarter, in Karasu District of Sakarya Province. It was discovered during the survey conducted by M. Kartal and his team in 2015. The finds were determined in three areas. In the first area, a chopping tool belonging to Lower Palaeolithic was found. In the second area located to the west of the first one, Lower Palaeolithic choppers and chopping tool (some of them are flint, and some of them are sandstone); a Levallois core belonging to Middle Palaeolithic, and a large flake core dated to Lower Palaeolithic or early phase of Middle Palaeolithic were found. The third area, located to the west of the second one, yielded a very small sized chopper. Although these tools are generally dated to Lower Palaeolithic, it is possible that they may belong to the later phase of Palaeolithic due to their sizes [Kartal-Erbil 2017:91-3].
