Obsidian finds were determined during the survey conducted by Semra Balci and her team in Bentbasi Mevkii, in the west and east of Ilengiri Ridge, about 2 km west of Yesilburç Town, in Merkez District of Nigde Province in 2015. These obsidian finds consist of end scraper, blade and bladelet, thin and thick flakes, and knapping waste. Potsherds dated to Roman Periods were found as well. The west of the ridge was named as Nita-41, while the eastern part named Nita-42 [BalciĞÇakan 2017:9]. |
