It stands on a rock; next to the road running from Elbistan to Maras; southwest of Elbistan; north of Kahramanmaras. It lies 2 km east of the village it was named after. It is an oval mound. It measures 180x110 m in dimensions and 16 m in height. The top hill is rounded. During the surface collection carried out in 1962; sherds of the eastern ware and mottled washed ware were identified as EBA by G.H. Brown.
