During the survey conducted by Kadriye Özçelik and her team on the left side of the Ayaz-Yüregil highway, in Ayaz Neighborhood, in the southeast of Serinhisar District of Denizli Province in 2015, a chopping tool was found. It is the most elaborately worked tool among the chopping tools found in the region so far. The tool dates to the Lower Palaeolithic and was produced from red-brown colored quality flintstone [Özçelik et al. 2017:511-2]. |
