During the survey conducted by Kadriye Özçelik and her team in the fields in Heybecik Mevkii, in Aydinlar Neighborhood, in Honaz District of Denizli Province in 2015, chopping tools, cores and Clactonian flakes dating to the Lower Palaeolithic were found. In the area, the unworked raw material was determined as well. These materials are local flint and they are dark yellow-brown with grey vein [Özçelik et al. 2017:507]. |
