During the survey carried out by M. Sagir and his team in the fields in the east of Beyözü Village, in Mecitözü District of Çorum Province in 2015, a large number of worked flints were found. These finds date to Middle Palaeolithic. They were produced from the local raw material. There are circular-retouched flakes, choppers, parallel-sided blades with flat butt, and Levallois flakes and cores among these finds [Sagir et al. 2017:284-5]. |
