Ç. Çilingiroglu and her team conducted a survey in the olive grove, in the west slope of the hill in the Kömür Cape, in the northern tip of the Karaburun Peninsula of Izmir Province in 2015. Some finds were determined in this area. 150 potsherds in total were collected, and retouched tools, made out of basalt and flint, were found. The handmade ones among the potsherds are dated to EBA due to firing technique, surface treatment, and form [Çilingiroglu et al. 2017:164]. |
