It is located behind the Municipality building in the center of Inegöl District; southeast of Bursa Province. It was discovered by K. Bittel; and investigated by K. Kökten; J. Mellaart; C.A. Burney; J. Cullberg; D. H. French and M. Özdogan. Materials of the EBA II-III and the second millennium BC were collected from the surface. Majority of them is known as black burnished ware of Demirciköy and called black or black rimmed Yenisehir ware by D.H. French. Also found is the gray washed ware. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
