| The site lies east of Batman-Su; east of Ikiztepe village of Batman. Iluh quarter of the village is set on the mound. It was discovered during the survey around Batman-Su conducted by G. Algaze. The surveys aimed to indicate the settlements; which were going to be inundated by the dams on Euphrates and Tigris. Sherds of Amuq F were collected from the surface. |
