It locates in the land called Ayrilik Mevkii or Kantarci Mevkii, 3-4 km southeast of Kapancik Village, at the provincial border of Kütahya, in the northwest of Usak Province. The village, which once belonged to Saphane District of Kütahya Province, is a part of Merkez District of Usak Province today. The Gediz River flows nearby. It was discovered during the survey conducted by H. Oy and his team in 2014. It is a slope settlement locating on a natural ridge. It measures 300x200 m and extends in the east-west direction. A high density of EBA pottery was found on the edge of the ridge. Among these potsherds, there are red, black and light brown slipped handmade wares, tripods, vertical and horizontal lugs and loop handles, vessels with scalloped handle and decorated sherds. Greek and Roman wares were found in the mound as well. There are remains of a tomb, which is believed to belong to Roman Period, in the area called Gavur Mezari near the mound [Oy 2016:503].
