Located in Çömlekçi Village of Ilgin District in Konya Province, the mound discovered during the survey conducted by Ö. Harmansah and his team in 2014. It situates in the region named as Orta Vadi (Middle Valley) by the lanine. The pottery sherds found in the area date to Late Chalcolithic, EBA I and II. The Late Chalcolithic typical wares consist of mottled lani-grey burnished, mineral tempered bowls with out-turned profile [Harmansah 2016:241]. |
