It locates at a height of 2548 m, 1.5 km northeast of Bardakçi Village of Çat District in Erzurum Province. It was built in the cyclopean technique. It was divided into two sections as lower and upper castles. The central section of the castle locates at a slightly lower elevation and is much vulnerable. Therefore, it was strengthened with city walls on both sides. About 1.5 m of city walls preserved. The entrance of both castles, which can be named as east and west, is on the south. While the western section was being adjusted in accordance with architecture, the eastern section was not scraped. The castle in the west was probably built for defense. The city walls of the west castle were built in two stages. The eastern section, on the other hands, was built in a single stage. The thickness of the city walls in the east ranges from 1.80-2 m. These walls are higher and apparent. There are oval planned structures in the center. The pottery sherds found in the area are dated to EBA, IA and Middle Age [Ceylan et al. 2016:456-7].
