It locates on the natural hill with a height of 1516 m, 1 km east of Kalecik Village, on the foothill of Mount Munzur, 35 km southeast of Merkez District in Erzincan Province. Fertile fields, meadows and water resources surround it. It was investigated during the survey conducted by Alpaslan Ceylan and his team in 2014. Stones rolled from the mountain block the east side of the settlement. A few pottery sherds belonging to Early IA and Middle Age were found [Ceylan et al. 2016:453-4]. |
