During the survey carried out by Kadriye Özçelik and her team in Heybecik Mevkii in Aydinlar Quarter of Honaz District in Denizli Province in 2014, finds dating to the Lower Palaeolithic were found. In the fields located to the east side of the motorway, Clactonian flakes and cores from which flakes were taken out were found. To 500 m east, a complete chopping tool formed from a flat flint nodule was discovered. All of the finds were produced from dark yellow flint with grey vein [Özçelik et al. 2016:380]. |
