Hüsniye is a small mountain village located 15 km northeast of Ulukisla; 39 km south of Nigde Province. Streams supplying to the Çakirsuyu pass by the village. Samples of the painting decorated metallic ware dating from the Early Bronze Age were recovered from the site in Tuzla Mevkii; southeast of Hüsniye Village. They were brought to the Nigde Archaeological Museum. Two of them are plain while the other three are painting decorated. Two of the forms are spouted pitchers; and other three are handled jugs [Öztan 1989:fig.1; 3; 6; 9; 12]. There is a small projection on the body of both the jugs and the spouted pitchers. For decoration; bands and small triangular projected bands were used. They are dated to the EBA III.
