It is located on the ridge near Çavdarhisar District of Kütahya Province. It was discovered by B. Dinçer who has been surveying the region since 2007. The finds scattered around an area of 100 m in diameter. In addition to this, there are also single finds in larger areas. The flakes without cortex are common among the finds. There are single and double-sided scrapers and borers. Two Levallois cores were found. Seven different types of cores exist. The technological variety of the cores indicates the existence of a long-term occupation of human groups who adopted different kinds of knapping techniques during Middle Palaeolithic [Dinçer 2014b]. |
