It is located 1150 m northwest of Kocapinar Village, 950 m southwest of Gedikören Village in Harmancik District of Bursa Province. Ibrik Creek is located 100 m north of the area. The Palaeolithic find was found on the slope about 200 m east of Iprik sinkhole. It is a proto-levallois core made out of primary cortex-bearing flint. Techno-typological features indicate that the core belongs to Middle Palaeolithic [Dinçer 2014a]. |
