It is located in the south of Harmancik-Bursa motorway, about 2.5 km west of the center of Harmancik District of Bursa Province. It is situated 380 m west of the road heading to Kismanlar Village, in the northern skirt of Kovalci Hill. It is being used as a picnic area. Only one core was found in Kovalci. The production of this core shares similarity to Middle Palaeolithic production chain known from Görükle in the north of Uludag. A neo-cortex bearing flint was used as raw material [Dinçer 2014a]. |
