It is located in Develi Tarla Mevkii, on the right side of Iznik junction, in the northwest of Osmaneli District of Bilecik Province. The settlement is situated in the northern and eastern slopes of the natural hill, the majority of which has been cut by the road. It was discovered during the survey conducted by T. Efe in 2013. The natural hill is 23 m above the plain ground. The flat area on top of the hill measures 60x40 m. Based on the dispersal of the materials, it is believed that the settlement covers an area of 120x100 m. However, it is possible that it extends towards the western skirts of the hill that has been cut due to the road construction. A large number of EBA II and EBA III wares were found on the mound [Efe et al. 2015:499]. |
