It is located 200 m west of the modern cemetery, 600 m southwest of Viraniçi Mevkii, 500 m southwest of Selçikler Town in Sivasli District of Usak Province. The settlement locates 2 km southwest of Sivasli District. It was discovered during the survey conducted by Ö. Koçak in 2013. It is about 140 m in diameter and 6-7 m in height. Potsherds belonging to Late Neolithic / Early Chalcolithic, EBA (?) and Late Roman Period were recovered. There are some cream or white slipped sherds belonging to Early Chalcolithic Painted wares as well. A mother goddess figurine was found in the settlement [Koçak 2015:357]. |
