It is located in Höyük Tepe Mevkii, 300 m north of Acitepe Höyügü (see Acitepe Höyügü), 2 km west of Büyükkisla Village in Hacibektas District of Nevsehir Province. It was discovered during the survey conducted by A. Türker in 2013. The mound is 6 m above the plain. It measures 230 m in diameter. It is situated in a quite watery plain. The spring of Derin Creek is located in the northeast of it. It consists of two hills. In the northeast section, stone tools, obsidian flakes and knapping wastes, hammers and EBA and MBA potsherds were found. In the southwest section, on the other hand, Late Roman / Byzantine ware are abundant. It is possible that there was a settlement belonging to late period in the southwest of the mound [Türker 2015:239]. |
