| The mound is located in the area in which the province borders of Aksaray and Kirsehir meet. It is about 4-5 km north of Yunus Emre Tomb and Sarikaraman Town. It was discovered during the survey conducted by M. Tekocak in 2012. The mound is situated on the plain in the center of the fields. The fill of the illicit digging pits and the surface of the mound yielded potsherds dated to the 2nd and 1st millennium BC [Tekocak 2015:88]. |
