It is located in the north of Taurus Mountains, in the south of Acipinar Tepesi (see Acipinar Tepesi Höyügü) in Kuskuncuk Village in Eregli District of Konya Province. It was discovered during the survey conducted by Ç. Maner and her team in 2013. Acipinar Tepesi Höyügü is within the range of vision of the mound. It covers an area of 0.55 hectares and measures 93 m in the north-south direction and 60 m in the east-west direction. It was founded on a natural hill. Potsherds were recovered from the illicit digging pits on the western slope. These sherds belong to Neolithic, Chalcolithic, EBA, MBA, LBA and IA [Maner 2015:32].
