It is located at the left turnout of the main road, in the northeast of Okçular Village in the southeast of Kaynarca District of Sakarya Province. It was discovered during the survey conducted by M. Kartal and his team in 2013. It is also named as Area no.14. A blade, a chalcedony flake and two pieces of knapping waste were found in the area. The finds show Late Palaeolithic characteristics. However, the blade was produced in pressure technique. Therefore, it should belong to Neolithic and / or the period after Neolithic [Kartal et al. 2015:18]. |
