The area (also named as Area no.11), which was discovered during the survey conducted by M. Kartal and his team in 2013, is located in the west of Area no.5 (see Ayiyatagi Mevkii Güneyi 1), in the north of Tepe Quarter in Arifaga Village in Kaynarca District of Sakarya Province. During the studies carried out in the hazel gardens in the plain and the slope of this area, a flint Levallois core and a bifacial-like core shaped flint fragment were found [Kartal et al. 2015:15-16]. |
