It is located in the northwest of Çivril Plain in Çivril District of Denizli Province. It was discovered during the survey conducted by Dedeoglu and her team in 2012. The mound covering an area of 2.7 hectares yielded Late Chalcolithic finds. Potsherds found in the area are generally brown, dark brown and black surfaced. Bowls with conical body and jars with simple or thickened out rims are common. This settlement was occupied during EBA I, EBA II, EBA III and MBA as well [Dedeoglu et al. 2014:367-368]. |
