It is obscured by Hogu Village; 11 km southeast of Elazig Province. It measures 10 m in height and 70x75 m in dimensions. It is one of the mounds survived in the Altinova plain after the start up of the Keban Dam. It was discovered by K. Kökten. The surface collection carried out by C.A. Burney yielded very limited number of samples for the Karaz ware. Another survey is necessary to verify the EBA finds. |
