Inundated by Atatürk Dam Lake; the site used to lie east of Adiyaman; on the west bank of Euphrates; 1.4 km southeast of Karatilbe village. Due to the distribution of the pottery; the site covers an area of 50x150 m. There are remains of walls on the surface. It was discovered during the Lower Euphrates Survey conducted by M. Özdogan in 1977. Chalcolithic Age sherds of dark faced burnished ware; chaff-faced ware and light colored fine ware were found. In addition; LBA and Post-Classical Period finds are existent on the surface. The location code of the site is T 52 / 21.
