It lies 700 m east of Örençay Village; southwest of Elazig. The dirt road that joins Elazig-Baskil motorway passes north of the mound. It is a small and flat mound measuring 5 m in height and 50 m in diameter. It was discovered by C.A. Burney. The survey yielded the presence of an EBA settlement based on the burnished Karaz ware with interiorly and exteriorly black surface; exteriorly red and interiorly black surface or vice versa; painting decorated versions of that ware as well as painting decorated sherds of the EBA II-III recovered from the surface. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
