It is located on the gypsum hill, 3 km east of Bayiralti Village in Hafik District of Sivas Province. It was discovered during the survey conducted by Engin and his team in 2012. The mound is 150 m high from the valley ground. The northeast section is quite steep. The settlement mainly extends in the south side of the rocky hill. The materials found on the surface indicate the existence of EBA, 2nd millennium BC, IA, Hellenistic-Roman and Middle Age occupation [Engin et al. 2014:49]. |
