It is located 7 km northeast of Hanahmet Village, 31 km north of Pasinler District of Erzurum Province. It was discovered during the survey conducted by Üngör and his team in 2012. It is believed that the fortress was occupied during antiquity and Middle Age. The city walls have been severely damaged. Only a small part of it is preserved up to date. The potsherds found in the area are dated to EBA, IA and Middle Age [Üngör et al. 2014:66].
