It is located 4 km east of Ahircik Village, 76 km north of Aziziye (Ilica) District of Erzurum Province. It was discovered during the survey conducted by Üngör and his team in 2012. Arapköy is a Middle Age fortress. However, the potsherds found in the area are dated to EBA, Early IA, Late IA and Middle Age [Üngör et al. 2014:63-64]. |
