It was researched during the survey conducted by E. Güleç and her team in 2011. Large flint nodules were observed on the surface and among the limestone rocks. 32 stone tools, 9 cores and 1 handaxe were identified. Among the stone tools, there are 23 flakes, 6 blades, 1 Levallois flake. Side scrapers and their derivatives, denticulated and notched tools and chisels and end scrapers belonging to the Middle Palaeolithic were encountered. The tools recovered from the area indicate that the western slopes of Baspinar Organize Sanayi contains Middle Palaeolithic culture and it has a flake-based technology. It is also possible to say that Levallois technique was frequently used [Güleç et al. 2013:260].
