During the survey conducted by E. Güleç and her team in 2011, a great number of flint nodules, cores and tools were found in the fields in the east and north of the Lotus Factory on the right side of the Adana-Sanliurfa motorway and in the northeast part of Baspinar Organize Sanayi (Baspinar Organized Industry). It was possible to observe large oval shaped flint nodules on the surface. 25 flakes and 7 blades were identified. In addition, 4 Levallois flakes and 1 Levallois blade were found. The majority of the typological structure consists of side scrapers and their derivatives. A bifacial handaxe, which might belong to the Lower Palaeolithic, was found in the area as well. The tools recovered from the area indicate that the northern slopes of Baspinar Organize Sanayi contains Middle Palaeolithic culture and it has a flake-based technology. It is also possible to say that Levallois technique was frequently used [Güleç et al. 2013:258, 259].
