It is located in the west of Adaköy Merkez Quarter; in the northeast of Yeniçaga Lake in Bolu. The road heading to the fields passes next to the mound. To its east, there is an earth road reaching to the fields via the water tunnel of DSI (General Directorate of Hydraulic State Works). Another earth road heading to the fields lies on its south. To its northwest, a reeds locates. Roman potsherds and fragments of tiles were encountered on and around the mound. As it could be seen on the section of the earth pile, there are also a few grey wares belonging to the BA together with Roman potsherds [Ortaç 2013:119, 120]. The mound was registered as a first degree archaeological site on January 9, 2009 [http://www.csb.gov.tr/db/ced/editordosya/bolu_icdr2011.pdf 09.12.15, 17:42].
