| It was discovered during the survey carried out by P. Niewöhner and his team in 2011. It is located 1 km northeast of Günyüzü District of Eskisehir Province. It is dated to the Early IA. It is a natural elevation with a height of less than 50 m and has steep slopes. It forms a flat plateau covering about 10 ha. The westernmost 2 ha of the plateau are fortified by a rampart. The rampart is 5 m high and 10 m wide. Most of the pottery is grey ware. These wares are similar to the ones found during the survey carried out by T. Sivas in the highlands of Phrygia [Niewöhner 2013:54]. |
